Notes on what I’ve been doing, and what I’m interested in:
I’ve been focusing a lot on my Anima Flora project lately. It’s a project that’s somehow been able to bring together a whole lot of things I’ve been passively thinking about my whole life.
So of course, tattooing these pieces is what I’m most excited about right now.
I’ve also started freehanding more. I think I’m going branch off and do a whole lot of freehand Nihilo Flowers. Why didn’t I freehand before? Well, I kind of did, just more in the realm of extensions and modifications. A lot of my artwork is about a specific texture that comes about from ink on paper. For those, I don’t like the idea of “inventing” it on the spot. But for some others (haze series, nihilo, ghost flower), the texture is manually constructed. Anyway... that’s all to say I’m going to be freehanding more on specific projects.
All in all... that’s where I’m at. As far as customs go, I’m most interested in stuff related to the concepts + special projects section (versions of the Anima Flora, or 女书, inner demons, etc).
