Before I started tattooing, I almost exclusively drew figures. But when it came to putting artwork on a body, I felt a resistance to it. It was the shape of the body I loved, that’s why I wanted to draw it.
Most of my tattoos have an element of this in it. Placements that are particular to the body are so important to me.
These explorations hold my adoration of the human body.
Most of these will have an element of freehanding during the session. We may also spend time testing out placement and sizing so that it fits well.
